Andrew Banson

Andrew has been a pivotal figure in the growth of Civil Site Design. He joined fifteen years ago after working as a Survey and Design Officer in local government in New South Wales, where he built his industry expertise.

That grounding is what sets him apart. Andrew started as an Application Specialist, training users and providing technical support for Advanced Road Design and Civil 3D, and building bespoke applications along the way. In 2016 he joined the Civil Site Design development team, which he now leads. He is driven to create groundbreaking solutions in civil engineering and surveying, and is currently exploring how the latest AI advances can be built into our software.
